1. About these terms

This website is operated by YLIT VENTURES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, a One Person Company incorporated in India and trading as YLit Ventures. By accessing this website or using an application we publish, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

2. Use of the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems, interfere with its normal operation, use automated means to scrape or overload it, or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaches applicable law.

3. Our applications

Each application we publish is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of an application is additionally governed by that application's own terms and privacy policy, and by the terms of the platform through which you obtained it.

For applications obtained through the Apple App Store, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these terms. You acknowledge that these terms are between you and YLit Ventures only, and not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the application or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for our applications. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any application or feature at any time. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially affects a paid feature.

4. Intellectual property

The YLit Ventures name, the YL mark, the design of this website, and the software, text and graphics in our applications are owned by YLIT VENTURES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from our software except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.

5. Your content

Where an application allows you to create or upload content, you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process it solely to operate and provide the application to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit and that it does not breach applicable law or the rights of others.

6. Third-party links and services

This website and our applications may link to or integrate third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimers

This website and our applications are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site or any application will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YLIT VENTURES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or our applications. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant product in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YLIT VENTURES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, its director and personnel against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website or our applications.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to this website or an application if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — will survive.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The competent courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over the subject matter of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your place of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised terms take effect when posted on this page, and the “last updated” date will be changed accordingly. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
